Wednesday opened the scoring after six minutes when a goalmouth scramble led to Diana Garin finishing neatly from inside the box.
Wednesday continued to push for more goals and got rewarded, scoring two goals in quick succession, Mika Russell and Michaela Barett, making it 2 then 3-0 to Wednesday.

The impressive Lloyd got her first of the game and Wednesday's 4th in the 30th min smashed the ball home after beating 2 Maltby players.

In a flash Wednesday made it 5 then 6 nil, with Lloyd slotting home her 2nd after good work from Barett, and then Mika Russell beat the offside trap to get her second.

Wednesday started brightly and made it 7 and Russell's hat trick when she neatly nodded home a superb free kick from Beth Ayrton.

The 8th goal came soon after when the Maltby keeper was unable to keep out Diana Garin’s 20-yard free kick.

The ruthless Wednesday pushed for more goals and didn’t have long to wait when Barrett got her second after beating 2 defenders and slotting it home to make it 9.

Wednesday got the 10th goal a few minutes later from the penalty spot, with Lloyd smashing it home and becoming the second player in the game to get a hat trick.

The 11th goal came in the 80th minute when a superb through ball from Laura Gallego was seized upon by Russell, who slotted home for her 4th goal of the game.

The 12th goal came soon after when Russell crossed for last season's U18 player, Ellie King, to drive the ball home for her first goal of the season.

The final goal for Wednesday came in the 84th minute; Monika Charles raced through on goal and cheekily backheeled the ball into the bottom corner, leaving both the GK and defender wrong-footed.

Harriett Lloyd was the POTM for Wednesday, followed closely by superb performances from Mika Russell and Beth Ayrton.

Wednesday Reserves now go into the SHWGL Shield final on Sunday after back-to-back wins, scoring an impressive 20 goals and conceding none.
