This season, Sheffield Wednesday Ladies First Team have combined for 38 league goals; the trio have scored 30 of them.

This works out to 79 percent of the team's goals this year. An outstanding figure and a huge credit to coaches Andy Gilligan and Gary Wilson, who have the trio firing so often.

Alongside this, the Owlesses have only failed to hit the target in four of 15 fixtures in the NERWFL this season.

On the left is winger Harriet Lloyd, who often cuts inside to shoot on her right foot. The winger sits on a tally of 10 goals in 14 appearances this season. Arguably her best performance came away from home against Brunsmeer, where she netted a stunning hat trick.

Often on the right is winger Nicole Shaw, regularly being found in more central positions as a second striker; she also sits on a tally of 10 league goals this year.

Her best performance in a Wednesday Ladies shirt came away from home in the Steel City Derby against Sheffield United CF. During this game she contributed a hat trick and collected Player of the Month for November alongside this.

Completing the trio and leading the line is striker Amy Broomhead. Now in her fourth season with Wednesday, the ex-Huddersfield player continues to impress. A tally of 10 goals in 13 appearances shows just how balanced this offensive unit is.

Her standout performance came in Wednesday's first win of the season against Altofts, where she scored the opener and added a late goal to seal a crucial three points. Broomhead’s experience proved vital in securing the victory.

Looking ahead to the next fixture, the trio will look to carry their strong league form over to a cup clash against Dronfield on the 16th of February.
