Coming off the back of an impressive win, the Owls now set their sights on Thackley away.
After a hard-fought win last time out at home against York Ladies, which saw Amy Broomhead grab herself a brace, including a goal from the halfway line, and the side battling all the way until the final whistle, the Owls will be looking to secure their first away win of the season.

Wednesday remain with a group of long-term injuries. Milly Colford remains sidelined due to a Weber B fracture, while Rachel Norsworthy is still suffering from a broken collarbone and will be unable to feature in the forthcoming game. Giovanna Petruccelli is also still sidelined following a muscular injury, as is Jodie Gregory, who picked up a broken collarbone in our last game against York City Ladies Development. Jess Birtles also remains out through injury but will continue to be part of the group, featuring as part of the coaching staff.

Our hosts on Sunday, Thackley AFC Women, currently sit top of the league and are yet to be beaten. Their most recent game saw them beat Evolution Ladies 4-3 away from home.
After a very strong performance from the Owls last weekend, Thackley will prove to be a good test for Wednesday, who will be looking to climb the table.
