Our U9s showed strength and determination as they faced Nether Green at home, with a bright sun beaming down on the teams. They continue to show improvement.

Wednesday began their first half with fast pace and power. Working well together the owls showed great teamwork as they started out pushing forward and giving high pace. Skilled footwork and amazing attitude the girls continued to work hard throughout the game. Proving themselves and maintaining their performance during the first half.

Wednesday’s defence was tested but ultimately allow the rest of the team to push forward. The energy does not slow down as the match closes into its second half.

As the second half proceeded there is a slightly slower progression but nevertheless the girls keep driving and defend well against the opposition.

Possession of the ball became much more equal, so the team focused on driving the ball up the pitch. They did not waste their opportunities and were able to get through the defence of the other team.

The Wednesday girls kept a determined front and show skilled footwork and overall, a great display of football to watch. In the end they showed fantastic sportsmanship in a well-played high tempo game.

A great game for our U10s against Thurcroft, with great teamwork from start to finish. Plenty of positives from this game.

Our U15s White were without a league game and opted for a tough friendly against Huddersfield Town Women JPL.

The team worked well starting the game off on a good foot and matching the oppositions desire, effort and limiting their chances.

However, Huddersfield were able to break that resilience in the 20th minute and started to move up through the gears coming in at 4-1 at half time.

Unfortunately, the opposition were eventually able to get ahead and show a strong performance coming out 10-1.

A humbling for our girls against a powerful opposition, lesson were learnt to take back to our league campaign.
