Andy Gilligan and Gary Wilson's side are gearing up for their seventh game of the 2024/25 NERWFL campaign with the side looking to notch a third consecutive away victory this Sunday.

The game will take place at Oughtibridge War Memorial Sports Club for a 2pm kick-off.

We caught up with Sheffield Wednesday Ladies First Team captain Eleanor Vessey, who has previewed the upcoming clash.

Speaking to the club, Vessey said: "We communicated a lot more on the pitch [last time out against Sheffield United Community Foundation], and we can now start to see the hard work we are putting in at training paying off in the games.

"We need to be able to replicate that same level of commitment and performance, and hopefully the outcome will be a similar result [to last week].

"It is definitely a motivation for the side [the recent FA Cup loss against Oughtibridge]. We want to show that we are improving game in game out."

Vessey and the Owlesses' game will take place this Sunday at Oughtibridge War Memorial Sports Club for a 2pm kick-off. Entry is FREE for the game; we hope to see as many of you there as possible showing your support!
